Maximum Impact
I was at a business meeting recently, and during the drawing for prizes, a colleague’s young child was asked to draw a business card out of the bowl. Well guess what? She pulled out my card, because it had COLOR. (IT WAS A BRIGHT TEAL BLUE) – That card was for my holistic advisor services.
My new business card is for my editing services. At first, I wanted to change the background color (thinking that the brown was too hard on the eyes), but then I researched "brown" online and found the meaning of the color, as follows:
Brown: represents wholesomeness and earthiness.
While it might be considered a little on the dull side, (NOT ME) it also represents steadfastness, simplicity, friendliness, dependability, and health. UPS (United Parcel Service) has built their business around the dependability associated with brown.
So there you have it. I’m sticking with these new business cards mainly because they convey what I do for my clients: MAXIMUM IMPACT!! and hopefully, they won’t get lost in anyone’s wallet.
